Terms of Service
Terms of Service
Last updated: January 2025
These Terms of Service govern your use of this website and our storm shelter consultation service. By submitting a consultation request, you agree to these terms.
Service Description
We review storm shelter consultation requests and arrange for independent licensed contractors to contact you. Work is completed by independent local storm shelter installations in and around South Florida. We review your request and arrange for a suitable storm shelter installation to contact you with a quote and availability.
We do not directly install storm shelters. We do not employ the contractors who perform the work. We facilitate introductions between property owners and licensed professionals.
Your Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate property information and contact details. You understand that consultation requests do not guarantee contractor availability or project acceptance. You are responsible for verifying contractor credentials, reviewing quotes, and negotiating terms directly with the contractor.
You acknowledge that final pricing, timeline, and scope are determined between you and the contractor. We do not set prices or guarantee specific outcomes.
Disclaimers
We make no warranties about contractor performance, project outcomes, or compliance with local codes. We do not guarantee that a contractor will accept your project or that installation will meet your expectations.
Contractors are independent businesses. We are not liable for their work quality, safety practices, or adherence to schedules. Any disputes about installation must be resolved directly with the contractor.
Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not responsible for property damage, personal injury, or financial loss resulting from contractor work or project delays.
We do not guarantee shelter performance during actual storm events. ICC 500 certification and FEMA compliance are contractor responsibilities.
Referral Fees
We may receive referral fees from contractors when projects are completed. These fees do not affect the price you pay. Contractors set their own pricing independent of any referral arrangement.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Florida. Any disputes will be resolved in Florida courts.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms.
